Official Rules

Eligibility:

The Demented Drive In Guest Shot("Promotion") is open only to persons who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of, and are physically present in Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, Walla Walla and surrounding cabled areas.


PRIZES:

A walk on role for the winner on Demented Drive In Theater. Approximate Retail Value of Grand Prize is priceless. A DVD of the episode in which the winner appears. An autographed photo of the cast. A Demented Drive In T-Shirt.

Promotion Description: During each week of the Promotion, during the airing of each 8 PM ( Pacific Time) Friday Night Movie (the “Show”) at a predetermined time in the broadcast (approximately in the first thirty
minutes of the Show) viewers will be invited to enter to win the Grand Prize. All viewers who respond to the invitation will be entered to win the Grand Prize.

Entry Limitations: LIMIT 10 ENTRIES TOTAL DURING THE PROMOTION PERIOD: Regardless of
the method of entry, you are limited to a total of ten (10) entries per email address/ mailing address during the
Promotion Period. So, for example you can (a) enter up to 5 times snail mail and 5 times online, or (c) enter up to 10 times on snail mail or up to 10 times online. Entries from the same person in excess of ten (10) will be disqualified.
Conditions for Participation and Validation of Entries: Entries generated by a script, macro, robotic or other
automated means will be disqualified. You may enter up to ten times total however, USE OF COMPUTER
PROGRAMS TO ENTER AND/OR OTHER AUTOMATIC ENTRY METHODS, (SUCH AS HACKS OR
BOTS), REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Sponsor reserves the right
to disqualify, and block or discard any entries from any individual who enters by any kind of electronic,
mechanical or other automated means or otherwise tampers with or hacks the entry process as determined by the
Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor also reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or
suspend the Internet portions of the Promotion in the event of a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or system failure or disruption, force majeure
or any other causes which, in their sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper
operation of the Promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER
INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL
LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY
LAW. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost and/or incomplete entries, which will be disqualified.
RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted by employees of Charter whose decisions are
final and binding. Drawing will be conducted on or about MAY 15TH, 2009.
PRIZES:
This prize cannot be transferred by Winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only as detailed
above, with no substitution of prize by Winner.
The nature of the walk-on role in which the Grand Prize Winner will appear will be made by the Series’
producers in their sole and exclusive discretion. Series’ producers are not obligated to broadcast or otherwise
use or exploit the Series or any part thereof. All details of the walk-on role to be determined by Sponsor, in
Sponsor’s sole discretion, subject to availability and production exigencies. Winner must be available during the
Series’ production schedule and on the dates selected by Sponsor. . Sponsor is not under any
obligation to broadcast or otherwise use the footage of Winner’s walk-on role and any decision to do so is in its
sole and exclusive discretion.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize Winner will be notified by USPS and/or email. Sponsor will
make two (2) attempts to contact the Grand Prize Winner at the mailing or email address provided online
within 72 hours from the time of the Grand Prize Winner’s selection. If
Sponsor is unable to reach a potential Grand Prize Winner within this time frame, he/she will
be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. Grand Prize Winner will be required to complete, notarize, sign
and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability ("Affidavit") and a Publicity Release (“Release”) the day of the shoot. If the Affidavit and Release are not returned within such time period, the prize will be forfeited
and an alternate winner will be selected at random from among all eligible non-winning entries received.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use
winner’s name, hometown, and likeness for promotional purposes in any and all media (including online
posting) without additional compensation.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate the rules or
interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate
entrant’s eligibility to participate in this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local
laws. Void where prohibited by law.
Additional Prize Restrictions: If Sponsor, in its sole discretion elects to incorporate the audio and video
recording of Grand Prize Winner in a Series, such appearance will not be considered an employment
opportunity, and the Grand Prize Winner will not be entitled to compensation or credit for such appearance. The
recording sessions will be of a length determined solely by Sponsor and/or the Series’ producer. Should Grand
Prize Winner fail to appear timely at the recording sessions, as solely determined by Sponsor the recording
session may be cancelled and the Grand Prize forfeited or rescheduled as solely determined by Sponsor. No
person(s) other than the winner and persons determined necessary by Sponsor may be present at the recording
session. If the audio and video recording is broadcast, such broadcast will be at a time, for a length of time, and
on a date solely determined by Sponsor. Winner
understands and agrees that Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the winner, cause the prize
to be forfeited, and remove the winner from the recording session, at any time if the winner’s behavior at any
point is deemed by the Sponsor to be disruptive, or may or does cause damage to person, property or the
reputation of Sponsor or Series’ producer, or otherwise violates the policies of the Sponsor, or Grand Prize
Winner does not follow the directions of Sponsor or Series’ producer at all times. These Official Rules and
Sweepstakes are not a contract for employment or an application for employment.
General Conditions: By entering, entrants fully and unconditionally agree and accept to be bound by these
complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding. Sponsor has the right to
modify these rules in its sole discretion for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and
conditions of the Promotion.
Except where prohibited, all winners grant to Sponsor and its advertising agencies the right to use, and publish
his or her proper name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information and state and announce on-air
winners’ name, home city and state in any media to promote Sponsor and the Promotion without additional
compensation.
Due to the nature of television, the broadcast date and time of each first run episode of the Show is subject to
change. In the event the Show is canceled or in the event any portion of the Promotion is cancelled, modified or
suspended, the Promotion will terminate as of the date of cancellation and the Sponsor will randomly select a
winner from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation, if any.
Entrants enter at their own risk. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed,
damaged, stolen, misdirected, incorrect, incomplete, ineligible or unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic,
hardware, software program, network, Internet or computer failures or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission;
(iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Promotion to be disrupted
or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance,
possession, use or misuse of a prize, or from participation in the Promotion; or (vi) any printing or typographical
error in any materials associated with these Official Rules or the Promotion generally, including, without
limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of
entries, the announcement of the prizes; or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of any entry or other such
information or the failure to capture any such information. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or
damages caused or claimed to be caused by his or her participation in the Promotion and/or the acceptance
and/or use of any prize, and release Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, parents,
subsidiaries and affiliates from any such liability. Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees,
parents, subsidiaries and affiliates assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any
other person’s computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in
connection with this Promotion.
Sponsor may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Promotion, if at the sole
discretion of Sponsor, such person shows a disregard for these Official Rules, or acts (1) with an intent to annoy,
abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or their agents or representatives; or (2) in any other
disruptive manner.
